Contramar

This restaurant was on all the lists.  And I mean everybody’s, from the biggest foodies to top models to world travelers…Yolonda Edwards, Andrea Gentyl, Carolann, Joey Wolffer, Dilone… I was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to the hype. It did. We feasted on Tostadas de Atun and Pescado a la Talla (Contramar's Signature Red and Green Grilled Red Snapper). All super delicious.

Of course, there were a couple of rounds of margaritas. The strawberry meringue cake for dessert is also a must with The Mexican carajillo—made from espresso and Licor 43, a yellow-gold elixir from the South of Spain, poured over ice. This restaurant was by far our biggest splurge.
