GRILLED CLAMS
everything summer and beach to me!
The absolute first thing that I am always so excited to make at the beginning of summer is grilled clams. It can be the main meal or an appetizer. And it is so easy!
Several dozen littleneck clams. I usually do at least 3 or 4. They go quickly!
Soak in cool water to clean
Just throw them on the grill.
Remove when they open.
Put them in a bowl and toss with melted butter, white wine and garlic.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Yum!
Serve with crusty bread and chilled Sancerre. Seriously doesn’t get any better than that!
